A gesture.
The oracle returns, this time in motion. The same cosmic sphinx that graces the Foulard is stretched across a blade of 16 momme silk twill, mounted on twenty ribs of hand- lacquered wood, inlaid with slivers of mother-of-pearl.
A pivot of aged brass. A midnight tassel, hand-knotted. Closed, it is an object of jet and ivory. Opened, a small night sky one can carry in a pocket.

Every wave,
a whisper.
The ribs are cured for weeks in a signature Soulvici accord — a soft smoke of oud, orris root, sandalwood and a single note of night jasmine. The scent lives in the wood, not upon it.
Opened, closed, waved through a warm room, the éventail leaves a trace of itself in the air. It is not a perfume. It is a signature — carried by the hand that holds it.
With time and use, the scent softens. This is intended. Some things are meant to be spent.
